Every learner can do maths. Sometimes they just need the right way in.

Dijitali Maths transforms mathematical learning from rote memorization into playful discovery, interactive problem-solving, and lasting confidence for every child.

Our Core Belief

Why Dijitali?

Because understanding mathematics should feel possible.

At Dijitali Maths, we believe learners do not all learn mathematics in the same way. Some need to touch it. Some need to see it. Some need to play with it. Some need to talk through it. Some need to solve a problem before the formula makes sense.

So we create multiple pathways into mathematical understanding.
🧩

Understandable

We break complex ideas into experiences learners can see, touch and reason through.

🎲

Engaging

We use games, challenges and collaboration to make learners want to participate.

💡

Meaningful

We connect mathematics to real-life situations and problems.

🗣️

Explainable

We encourage learners to explain their thinking, not simply give an answer.

🌱

Confidence-Building

We celebrate progress and help learners see themselves as capable mathematicians.

Our Methodology

The Three-Step Learning Rhythm

We believe confidence follows competence. Learners shouldn't merely be told they can do math—they must experience themselves succeeding at it.

01

DISCOVER

Learners encounter mathematical concepts through play, curiosity, and hands-on tactile exploration before any formal procedural explanation.

02

PRACTICE

Learners reinforce understanding through meaningful repetition, peer collaboration, problem-solving challenges, and interactive digital tools.

03

BELIEVE

Learners experience tangible success, shed mathematical anxiety, and begin to see themselves as capable, creative mathematical thinkers.

Our Approach

Different Doors. Same Understanding.

No two learners are identical. We provide multiple entryways into core mathematical concepts so every child finds the path that clicks.

Games-Based Learning

Engaging mathematical board and card games that make numbers fun and memorable.

Hands-on Manipulatives

Locally available materials, counting cups, beads, and tangible physical models.

Problem-Solving Challenges

Real-world mathematical puzzles that cultivate resilience and logical reasoning.

Visual Representations

Tangrams, diagrams, and geometric patterns that bring abstract concepts to life.

Discussion & Explanation

Learners explain their thinking to peers, moving from understanding to teaching.

Meaningful Digital Tools

Technology as an enhancer when it genuinely improves accessibility and learning value.

Meet The Founder
“The problem was never that I couldn't learn. It was that no one had shown me how, for me.”

Brenda Atieno Odhiambo is a Kenyan mathematics educator and learning designer. As a child, she struggled in a system that expected math to be learned only one way. She counted on her fingers, sang to understand numbers, and was often labelled "slow."

Years later, while teaching at Kayole 1 Comprehensive School in Nairobi, Brenda saw the same potential in her own learners losing confidence. That sparked the creation of Dijitali Maths.

What Our Community Says

Real feedback from learners, teachers, and school heads across Kenya.

“I used to freeze during math exams. When we made binary necklaces with beads and played math dice games, I realized math is just a puzzle. Now I help my classmates!”

A

Amani N. (Grade 6 Learner)

Nairobi County

“The workshop on hand-painted counting cups completely revolutionized how my learners understand fractions. Even the quietest children are now raising their hands!”

J

Jane K. (Mathematics Teacher)

Nakuru County

“Dijitali Maths brought enthusiasm to our school. Seeing children run eagerly to a mathematics session during the holidays was truly inspiring.”
